-tered in the sole name of Messrs. Arnhold, Karberg & Co.

(f). 2 unregistered marks, know respectively as

the "E.K." and "D.K." marks, used on piec goods shipped by Messrs. Geo. Fraser Son & Co. Ltd.

(g). An unregistered mark, know as "Waiting in the West Room for the Moon" or "No. 2477", used on piece goods shipped by Messrs. Geo. Richardson & Co. Ltd., of Bradford.

An application was received in June, 1915, from Messrs. Geo. Fraser Son & Co. Ltd. to be allowed to ship goods bearing the "Fox & Duck" mark and the "E.K." and "D.K." marks, to a Mr. Bertram Webb. A similar application was received at the same time from Messrs. Geo. Richardson & Co. Ltd. to be allowed to ship goods bearing the "No. 2477′′ mark to Mr. Bertram Webb. Both these applications were refused. Messrs. H. E. and C. H. Arnhold have applied generally for permission to use the trade marks and marks formerly used by Messrs. Arnhold Karberg & Co. The one mark of outstanding importance appears to be the "Fox & Duck* mark, and it appears to be the mark which local British importers regard as the most dangerous competitor of their marka,
